If I want to participate as a member in this discourse, I need to communicate  in its given language. This is certainly true in the s<span class=\"hl\">ubculture<\/span> of <span class=\"hl\">academia<\/span>, but it is also true in the <span class=\"hl\">subculture<\/span> of corporate practice.
